I bought a clock from Newgate and, to be honest, I’m happy with it. I didn’t want to spend loads, so I was hoping it would at least keep decent time, and it’s been spot on so far. I’ve checked it a few times against my phone and it hasn’t drifted at all. Nice to have a clock that just gets on with the job. Delivery was smooth too, no complaints.

I bought this from Newgate a few months back and it’s still in really good shape. I use it pretty much every day and haven’t noticed any cracks, loose parts, or anything weird. The funny thing is I remember opening the package while eating a pickle, so now I randomly associate it with that, but yeah, no complaints so far. Happy with it.

The ticking is much louder than I expected, and for the price I thought it would feel a bit more premium. It’s okay in the kitchen where there’s background noise, but I definitely wouldn’t put it in a bedroom or quiet office. It’s a shame because I liked the look of it, but it’s made me lose some trust in the quality. Not terrible overall, just wish it was quieter.
